CNY RISE Center volunteers celebrated Eid al-Adha on August 11, 2019. Turkish breakfast was served throughout the event. Children played in the bouncy house, obstacle course, and some other games outside while everyone was enjoying the beautiful weather. Additionally, children got their face painted by talented artists.
After a month of fasting, it is time for our families and friends to celebrate the Eid al-Fitr. It is especially a magical time for children. CNY RISE Center volunteers celebrated Eid al-Fitr on June 16, 2018. Turkish breakfast and BBQ were served throughout the event. Children were able to play in the bouncy house and some other games outside while everyone was enjoying the beautiful weather. The twin magicians David and Paul Jackman also came to entertain children and made some balloons for them.
