CNY RISE Center to Host 9th Annual Public Service Award Dinner

CNY RISE Center is proud to announce its 9th Annual Public Service Award Dinner, taking place on Tuesday, May 19 at 6:00 PM at the CNY RISE Center in Syracuse.

This year’s theme, “Collaborative Community Policing,” highlights the importance of partnership, trust, and shared responsibility in building safe and thriving communities. The event is organized in cooperation with the Syracuse Police Department and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, reflecting a continued commitment to strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

The evening will feature remarks from Mark Rusin, Chief of Police for the City of Syracuse, along with recognition of individuals and partners who have made meaningful contributions to public service and community engagement.

The Annual Public Service Award Dinner has become a cornerstone event for CNY RISE Center, bringing together civic leaders, law enforcement officials, and community members to celebrate collaboration, honor service, and promote dialogue.

By focusing on collaborative approaches to community policing, this year’s program aims to foster mutual understanding, encourage open communication, and highlight the shared goal of creating a safer and more connected Central New York.

CNY RISE Center invites community members, partners, and supporters to join this meaningful evening of recognition, reflection, and unity.
