CNY RISE Center is a non-profit non-governmental organization with no political affiliation.
We Rise by Lifting Others.
The CNY RISE Center was established in February 2017 by volunteers of the former Turkish Cultural Center Syracuse (TCCS). Volunteers sought to establish a new organization with a local Board that better reflected their vision and outreach into the CNY community.
CNY RISE Center seeks to build relationships within communities via educational programs, interfaith events, cultural and religious programs, and collaborative initiatives.
The motto of CNY RISE Center is “We RISE by lifting others” inspired by the philosophy that serving others unconditionally is the means to serving God. The first step is to respect one another. Mutual respect gives rise to inspiration and service is inspiration in action. Empathy then can weave together a community so that everyone is connected.
